ONE FINE DAY IN ADVANCE FUNCTION CLASS.. (S for student and T for teacher)
S: Whats the difference?
T: Ok, real number are number that exist..
S: So what are the number which does not exist?
T: Non real number are the number we create to solve an equation which cannot be solve..
S: *murmuring* (This teacher is insane, he just said solve the equation which cannot be solve.)
T: Let me give an example, square root of -4 is an equation we cannot solve so we created a non real number which is square root of -1 multiply squre root of 4. Then we can solve the equation and get the answer although answer can never be calculated by calculator.
S: WICKERD!!!
And they live happily ever after...
On the other hand, whole number is any positive number.
He also explain the part which i will be explaining soon which is the power function. The power function is the linear, quadratic, cubic and so on stated by the narrator.
so far so good? Then let us watch another video which is more advance, set and GOOO!!!
Maybe you might forget about quadrant so let me refresh you. Ignore the sin,cos and tan because i get the diagram from trigonometric quadrant which shows that when particular trigonometry in particular degree will form the answer with what sign.
You may refer to http://www.purplemath.com/modules/polyends.htm to test your understanding and this link also provide with summary of graph of even and odd degree function. Its only 1 question, not need long time and you may continue facebook-ing again. Of course text book contain lots of exercise you may work on, if you have time. If you have question or suggestion or complain or anything except asking for cellphones number please leave me comments and i will try my very best to answer, improve and fit your study style.... Oh yea, spare some of your time to google and watch video on youtube to know more. Self learning is self improving. :)
TNT, ADVANCE FUNCTION FREAK.
hey dude,,, I think trigonometric function is not a polynomial function... They are 2 diff. things... Read t.b pg7 :)... BTW follow my blog too, mathsrockzz.blogspot.com .... Feel free to comment mine!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks kelvin for correcting my mistake... Sorry for late reply too.. well, i guess i should say all of them belong to functions right? sori to confuse u all but people learn from mistake, thats what i said in class when we are having our 1st advance function class!! thank you!!
